First Reconciliation Preparation

Age 7 to 8th Grade

 

Sacramental Preparation registration is now closed for this school year. Registration will be open only during August 1 to August 31, 2023.  For information on the Sacramental Preparation Program to prepare your child to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Communion click on the Sacramental Preparation Information button below.

Baptized Catholic children aged 7 years old through 8th grade who have completed one year of Faith Formation classes may be eligible to prepare for First Reconciliation.

For Teens

 

First Reconciliation Preparation for Teens in 9th-12th Grade.

 

Our Sacramental Preparation program prepares teens over a two year period.

9th Grade

 

Those who have completed one year of EDGE or Catholic School (8th Grade) will register for Life Teen (9th Grade) or attend Catholic School AND attend Sacramental Preparation programming.

10th-12th Grade

 

Sacramental Preparation will be through our Teen Confirmation Program. Participants will receive their First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.

For Adults

 

Sacramental Preparation will be through our Adult Confirmation Program – Participants will receive their First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. During the Fall Semester, Adult Confirmation preparation is offered through an 8-10 week course. What you need:

  • Must be at least 18 years old AND graduated from High School.
  • Have already received the Sacrament of Baptism in the Catholic Church.
  • Do not have any marriage impediments (see here for clarification).
  • Are growing in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

***You will need to provide a recently issued copy of your baptismal certificate dated within the last 6 months. Please call the church that you were baptized at and ask them to “re-issue” your baptismal certificate.
