May 18, 2016
On May 9th, construction crews arrived at St. Anthony to begin clearing our adjacent property in preparation for our new Outreach Facility, sports fields and additional parking.
The Outreach Facility will be the new home of St. Anthony’s Bread Food Pantry, which served over 18,000 people in 2015, and the parish chapter of St. Vincent de Paul Society, which assisted over 4,900 people with over $320,000 in emergency financial support last year. The Outreach Building will also feature additional meeting rooms and office space.
The Sports Fields will be relocated and expanded to include a regulation-size football field, in addition to athletic space for cross country, soccer, softball, and baseball. On a daily basis, nearly 1,400 students, parents, parishioners and staff benefit from St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School’s fields.
Additionally, approximately 300 parking spaces will be added to serve over 6,000 registered families that attend St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
