Confirmation

Adult

The sealing of the Holy Spirit in Confirmation is the final sacrament of initiation into the Catholic Church. If, for whatever reason, you have not received this powerful sacrament, we encourage you to do so! During the Fall Semester, Adult Confirmation preparation is offered through an 8-10 week course. What you need:

• Must be at least 18 years old AND graduated from High School.
• Have already received the Sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion in the Catholic Church.
• Do not have any marriage impediments (see here for clarification).
• Are growing in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

***You will need to provide a recently issued copy of your baptismal certificate dated within the last 6 months. Please call the church that you were baptized at and ask them to “re-issue” your baptismal certificate.  If you were baptized at St Anthony of Padua, request your Baptismal Certificate here.

El sellamiento del Espíritu Santo en la Confirmación es el sacramento final de iniciación en la Iglesia Católica. Durante el semestre de otoño, la preparación de confirmación para adultos se ofrece a través de un curso de 8-10 semanas. Que necesitas:

• Debe tener al menos 18 años y haberse graduado de la escuela secundaria.
• Ya han recibido los Sacramentos del Bautismo y la Sagrada Comunión en la Iglesia Católica.
• No tenga ningún impedimento matrimonial (vea aquí para aclaración).
• Están creciendo en su relación personal con Jesucristo.
