The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. A program for boys 11 through 17 designed to achieve the aims of Scouting through a vigorous outdoor program and peer group leadership with the counsel of an adult Scoutmaster. Scouts move from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts in February of their 5th grade year if they have earned the Arrow of Light Award. If new to scouting, boys can join Scouts BSA if they are at least 10 years old, currently in the fifth grade and register on or after March 1st; or are age 11 but have not reached age 18. Contact our Scoutmaster for more information.
